1st Pentacle of the Moon

This pentacle is used to invoke Lunar spirits, and to open doors both material and metaphysical. The versicle above the Names on either side is from Psalm 107: 'He hath broken the Gates of brass, and smitten the bars of iron in sunder.'

Solomonic pentacles are inscribed in metal in the day and hour of their associated planet and adhered to wooden bases painted in appropriate planetary colors.
