This Venusian pentacle is used in controlling spirits of Venus, especially those named on the pentacle itself: the Angels Nogahiel, Acheliah, Socodiah and Nangariel.

Solomonic pentacles are inscribed in metal in the day and hour of their associated planet and adhered to wooden bases painted in appropriate planetary colors.
