Foundations of Necromancy is a six-month series with Austin Fuller, of BaneXBramble, consisting of six classes with practical magical exercises in between. Participants will be guided through lessons in folk-approaches to necromancy: the art of conjuring and pacting with the dead.
Classes begin Thursday October 23rd and will take place on the third Thursday of each following month at 7pm Eastern. Can’t make it to the live? *All classes are recorded and made available for viewing within 48hrs of the live-stream*.Beyond the cemetery gate lies hidden power: in the city of the dead, shades and ghosts wander, some malignant, some benign. In Foundations of Necromancy, we will explore this infamous art beyond the grimoire: no longer contained in dusty books on obscured shelves, we will illuminate the practices of ancestral veneration, entering the city of the dead, divination, mediumship, practical spells and workings, pacting, compelling, conjuring, and more.
Session One - The Black Earth That Bore Me: Ancestors, guides, development, mediumship
In this introductory class, we will explore the most important tool: yourself. As we dispel the mists of confusion, we will find ourselves at the table of the ancestors: familiarizing ourselves with our guides, developing spirit sight, and more.
Session Two - A Garden of Bones: Materia Magica
In this class, we will explore the tools, and materials of the art of necromancy, including the necessary instruments, and botanicals, minerals, and animalia.
Session Three - A Tower Fortress; A Castle Gaurd: Protections, Protocols, and Poltergeist
In session three we will discuss the protocols of protection, both in the kingdom of the dead, as well as the home.
Session Four - An Iron- Clad Gate, A Row Of Angry Spire: Entering the Cemetery, and Divination
In our fourth installment we will discuss the kingdom of the cemetery, collection of materia, and divination
Session Five - Nekromantia: Spells & Workings
For our fifth installment, we will compile our previous classes, and discuss workings and operations of necromantic operations.
Session Six - Hell is Empty & All The Devils Are Here!: Spirit Vessels; Pacts; and Rituals.
For our final class, we discuss pacting with spirits and making spirit vessels.
