Pocket Poppet

These handsewn flannel poppets each have a small front pocket which may be filled with herbs, personal concerns or other materials. When charged with personal concerns, the poppets may be magically worked as effigies of individuals, for a variety of purposes.

The white poppets suggest works of healing, aid and illumination; the red, works of passion, heat and energetic stimulation; and the black works of crossing, impedance and mischief, although these suggestions are by no means exhaustive and may be embellished or subverted according to your magical cunning. 

The poppets may also serve as containers or bodies for spirits, with their pockets filled with materials that potentiate and bolster the work of the spirit. The red and black versions of the poppets also featured devilish, horned versions which may serve well as hosts for imps or trickster spirits. 

Each poppet is approximately 9" long.
