Salem Conjure Co. Saint Expedite Oil is formulated for works where fast luck and rapid results are needed. It was also designed as an offering to the saint of quick results. It may be used for dressing red and yellow candles, seals, papers, and conjure bags, for adding to magical lamps, or for the anointing of yourself or another. Frankincense, cinnamon, and allspice are just a few of the ingredients which make this oil so effective. Each bottle is handcrafted at an appropriate day and time and blessed upon Saint Expedite’s altar.

It is said that Saint Expedite provides swift results in our time of need. Saint Expedite has been worked with by magical and spiritual practitioners around the world and is much beloved for the work he does on behalf of those who come to him for aid.

Though there is no verifiable evidence that he existed as a historical figure, Saint Expedite has a colorful history as a patron of fast luck, quick fixes, and putting an end to procrastination. There are various folk tales that speak if his origin which claim that his statue arrived in a crate to a convent or a church - the specific church and its location changing depending upon who is telling the tale. When the crate arrived there was a statue of a Roman soldier inside, and though there was no information about the statue inside, those receiving it noted the label on the side of the crate which said “Expedite” and determined that to be the name of this otherwise unknown Saint.

Saint Expedite has a mercurial nature and is often worked with on Wednesdays. His colors are yellow and red. Popular depictions of the Saint show him stamping upon a crow which exclaims “Cras” which is both Latin for tomorrow, and also mimics the caw of a crow in sound. Meanwhile Expedite is seen holding a cross aloft with the word “Hodie” (Today) written upon it. Originally this was seen as representing the directive to repent/convert today instead of waiting, however it is further seen as representative of Saint Expedite’s nature to get things done, and get them done now.

A prayer to Saint Expedite for desperate causes

“My Saint Expedite of urgent and just causes, please intercede for me with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Succor me in this hour of affliction and despair, my Saint Expedite. You who are a Holy warrior, You who are the Saint of the afflicted, You who are the Saint of the desperate, you who are the Saint of urgent causes, Protect me, Help me, Give me Strength, Courage and Serenity.

Hear my plea. ____________ (Clearly express what you want, and ask him to find a way to get it to you.)

My Saint Expedite, help me to prevail through these difficult hours, protect me from all those who want to harm me, respond to my plea with urgency. Bring me back to the state of peace and tranquility, my Saint Expedite. I will be grateful to you for the rest of my life and I will speak your name to all those who have faith.
(Now promise to give Saint Expedite a specific offering when your desire is granted.)
(Say one Our Father, one Holy Mary, and make the sign of the cross.)

(Be sure to provide the offering you promised if Saint Expedite grants your petition)
